Calgary is an attractive and dynamic city located in the Province
of Alberta, Canada. It is also dubbed as ‘Cowtown’
as it hosts the annual Calgary Stampede, a famous rodeo dating since
1912.

is situated in southern Alberta and south of Edmonton, at the confluence
of the Bow and Elbow rivers at an elevation of 1049 m. It is the
‘Gateway to the Rockies’ for being situated in the foothills
of the majestic Canadian Rockies, just one hour’s
drive from Banff National Park.
Calgary
is a coveted tourist spot and a perfect destination for winter
sports, having a number of major mountain resorts near
the city. It hosted the Winter Olympics in 1988.
